▩ 목적
국내에서는 1990년대 이후 미술관의 교육적 역할에 대한 재인식과
연구가 활발해졌으며, 2006년 6월 문화예술교육진흥법이 시행되면서 미술관이 중요한 사회교육기관으로
대두되고 있다. 그러나 현재 대부분의 미술관교육프로그램은 전문 인력과 재원의 부족으로 단순한 창장활동
프로그램이 주를 이루고 있는 현실이다. 따라서 이번 국제적인 워크숍을 통해 미술관의 교육적 기능을 확인하고
우리의 상황을 객관적으로 인지함으로써 사회적 반향을 유도하고, 나아가 지역사회와 연계할 수 있는 문화예술교육의
다양한 발전 방안을 모색하고자 한다.
